Therapeutic Action
Anticonvulsant.
 
Indications
Phenytoin Denver Farma is indicated for the control of generalized tonic-clonic seizures (Grand Mal), complex partial seizures (psychomotor and temporal lobe) or a combination of these, as well as in the prevention and treatment of crises that occur during or after neurosurgery and / or severe brain injury. Phenytoin, the active ingredient of Phenytoin Denver Farma, may also be used for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, but should only be used as a second line if carbamazepine is ineffective or not tolerated.
