Composition
Each dose contains: Salbutamol Sulfate (equivalent to 100 mcg of Salbutamol) 120 mcg Propellant HFA 134a. Excipients q.s.
Therapeutic action
Short-acting bronchodilator.
Indications
Indicated for the relief and prevention of asthma symptoms and chronic airflow obstruction. It should be used to alleviate symptoms when they occur, and to prevent them in those circumstances recognized by the patient before asthma attack is precipitated (before exercise or unavoidable allergen exposure). Bronchodilators should not be the sole or primary treatment in patients with severe or unstable asthma. Severe asthma requires regular medical evaluation, including lung function tests, since patients are at risk of severe seizures. Physicians should consider using the recommended dose of inhaled corticosteroid and / or oral corticosteroid therapy in these patients.
