Description

Composition
Each 100 ml of Oftalfenac® ophthalmic solution contains: Sodium sesquihydrate Bromfenac
(equivalent to 90 mg of Bromfenac acid) 103.5 mg Excipients: Boric Acid, Sodium Borate, Glycerin,
Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Benzalkonium Chloride, Disodium Edetate dihydrate, Polysorbate 80,
Sodium Sulphite, Purified Water q.s.
Therapeutic Action
Oftalfenac® is used:
-In adults to reduce ocular inflammation after cataract surgery.
-In the treatment of inflammatory processes of the external eye and cornea.
Indications
The recommended dose is one drop per day of Oftalfenac® in the affected eye(s). For the treatment
of inflammation after cataract surgery, the recommendation is to start using Oftalfenac® the day
before surgery and continue applying it for the next 14 days after surgery. Do not use Oftalfenac® for
more than 2 weeks.
