Composition    
Each vial of 3 ml of solution for injection contains:
Midazolam (as Hydrochloride) 15.0 mg
Excipients q.s.

Therapeutic Action
Benzodiazepine with hypnotic and sedative effect.
 
Indications
Midazolam is a sleep inducer with a short duration of action, with the following indications:
Adults:
-Anesthesia: Premedication before anesthetic induction. Anesthetic induction As a sedative component in the combined anesthesia. Endovenous infusion of Midazolam can be used as a nitrous oxide and oxygen supplementation (balanced anesthesia).
-Self-conscious approach: Before and during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures performed with or without local anesthesia, such as respiratory endoscopy, digestive endoscopy, catheterization, oncological procedures, radiological procedures, and suture lacerations, either alone or associated with other system depressants central nervous system (CNS).
-Sedation in intensive care units.
Children and adolescents up to 15 years of age:
-Anesthesia: Premedication before the induction of anesthesia
-Self-conscious: Before and during diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, with or without local anesthesia, such as those previously described for adults
-Sedation in intensive care units
