Therapeutic Action
Anticonvulsant and antiepileptic.
 
Indications
Epilepsy
• Complex or simple, partial epileptic seizures, with or without secondary generalization.
• Generalized tonic-clonic epileptic seizures.
• Mixed epileptic seizures. Carbamazepine Denver Farma is suitable both in monotherapy and in antiepileptic polytherapy.
• Mania and prophylactic treatment of manic-depressive illness: in patients who did not respond to lithium therapy or who present contraindications to conventional anti-manic drugs.
• Alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
• Classic trigeminal neuralgia and trigeminal neuralgia due to multiple sclerosis (typical or atypical). Idiopathic glossopharyngeal neuralgia.
