Therapeutic Action
Antipsychotic.
 
Indications
Adults:
• Schizophrenia: treatment of symptoms and prevention of relapse ("DSM IV").
• Other psychotic disorders, especially paranoia ("DSM IV").
• Mania and hypomania.
• Behavioral problems such as aggression, hyperactivity and self-mutilation, in the case of patients with mental retardation and in patients with organic brain damage.
• As a complement to the short-term treatment of moderate to severe psychomotor agitation, excitement, violent or dangerously impulsive behavior.
• Nausea and vomiting.
